At OSSD, we think that all children should have access to the enormous benefits gained through drama education. We have seen young lives literally changed by these positive learning experiences. Classes at OSSD combine the fun of theatre with strong skills building in vocal production, movement and use of language. The emphasis at OSSD is on creative thinking, team work and personal growth through dynamic challenges. Students also learn confidence, integrity, the ability to work with others, empathy and spontaneity. These life skills come naturally out of the process of working together on a theatre project.
The Ottawa School of Speech & Drama is able to help transform the lives of children and adults through the generous support of its donors, students, alumni and volunteers.
