Welcome To Summer Camp
Welcome to the Ottawa School of Speech and Drama's Summer camp. Now in its 18th year, OSSD’s summer programs give children and youth a chance to discover the exciting world of theatre with professional actors, directors, musicians and choreographers. It's a summer filled with discoveries that can last a lifetime.
Our air-conditioned Westboro studios are centrally located, with convenient drop off and parking. There is a well maintained city park close by for fun outdoor activities.
All of our creative and fun camps help young people to develop self-confidence, spontaneity, the ability to articulate and ability to work collaboratively with others. Everyone on staff makes it a priority to create an environment that is safe, supportive and encouraging.
Each day begins with a physical and vocal warm up to get campers ready for a day of dramatic excitement. The emphasis is on learning creative skills, making new friends and exploring ways that theatre can bring ideas to life. Every camp session ends with a presentation for family and friends.
We have one, two and three-week workshops offering a wide variety of choices. Whether you are a beginner or an advanced student, 6 or 17 years old, OSSD is the place to be for summer theatre!
