How a March Break workshop called “The King of the Children” became the premiere of a new Canadian play:
Three years in the making, “The Children’s Republic” is OSSD’s special 20th Anniversary project.
“The Children’s Republic”, a co-production between OSSD and The Great Canadian Theatre Company, is an exciting Canadian premiere by playwright Hannah Moscovitch. The play features a cast that includes some fabulous young OSSD actors and some of the finest talent that Ottawa has to offer.
The “The Children’s Republic” runs Tuesdays through Sundays at GCTC November 3 – 22nd, at 8:00 pm, with matinee performances on Saturday November 14 & 21(4:00pm) and Sunday November 15 & 22 (2:00 pm).
