Trillium Foundation and the City of Ottawa
Just in time for the Holidays:
OSSD receives grants from Ontario Trillium Foundation and the City of Ottawa!
The move to Westboro earlier this year created some unique challenge for OSSD, but it also resulted in a number of wonderful opportunities. I am pleased to announce that OSSD has been awarded $30,000 from the Ontario Trillium Foundation and $5,500 from the City of Ottawa to equip the Natalie Stern Studio Theatre, our first in-house performance space, with a professional lighting and sound system, and stage curtains.
On behalf of the Ottawa School of Speech and Drama, thank you to the Ontario Trillium Foundation and the City of Ottawa for supporting us.

What did Ottawa Centre MPP Richard Patten have to say about OSSD’s Trillium grant?
Ottawa Centre MPP, Richard Patten, also believes that the awarding of a Trillium Grant is good news for Ottawa. “The Trillium grant to OSSD is an investment in the social and economic well-being of our community,” said Mr. Patten. “The Ontario government is strongly committed to promoting access to and support of the arts in Ottawa.”
